My Magical Foundation Mixture

I have posted about some of my favorite foundations before - but never about how I mix them and put them on. I almost never use just one color on my face. I always custom blend between two shades - usually with two different under tones as well as a liquid illuminator. I LOVE mixing in an illuminator because it gives me a natural glow that I so desperately love. I seriously dislike the matte look. I think it ages people, which none of us want. I either use MAC Studio Sculpt - which is a full coverage but has a beautiful glow by itself or Estee Lauder Double Wear when I want my make up to last ALL day long...and I'll be totally honest...I've slept in this stuff. It stays on...all night. (Enter in the embarrassed emoji face with big eyes).

I ALWAYS use my beauty blender when applying foundation or blending foundation. I also use my Sigma F80 Foundation Brush but love how the blender smoothes everything out. TIP/DEMAND: WET YOUR BEAUTY BLENDER! - I have spoken to so many ladies who try to use their beauty blender...DRY. UGH. No way, girls. You have to fully saturate your beauty blender sponge and then squeeze it out. Then I wrap it in a paper towel and squeeze one last time to get the extra water out. Ill post a video on this one too.

The MAC Lustre Drops pictured above are no longer available unfortunately, but I found that NARS Orgasm Illuminator works just as great!
