The Importance of Protecting Your Family's Future with Bestow

Most of my readers know that I was a single mom for a few years. Parenting is hard in itself, but being a single mom, just sort of steps the stress levels up a notch. One area of concern for so many single parents is providing for your family. It is always a challenge to find a balance between how to provide and making sure you are also physically present for your kids. I remember when I was parenting solo, I used to lay awake at night, terrified about my children's future... if something happened to me - what would they do? We could barely make ends meet, financially. So the thought of life insurance or any protection for our future was not even something I thought I could afford. Fast forward to today, we can afford life insurance but still haven't bought it because it's such a hassle to buy, we honestly don't have the time. (How silly but you know you all agree!) The thought of adding one more appointment, one more phone call, one more form to fill out made me push it to the next day, then the next day and here I was - years later with no life insurance still!  Do you want to know a fact about the average American?

85 percent of consumers agree that most people need life insurance, yet just 62 percent say they have it. 44 percent of U.S. households had individual life insurance as of 2010

The busyness of life is halting us from preparing and protecting our family's future. And that just needs to change. I wish that Bestow was available in my single parenting days. I would have stressed just a little less. Thankfully, they came up with a stress free process. When I heard about Bestow, they showed me how their online application works and the whole process, it was SO easy! Here are some facts about Bestow...

  1. Bestow takes 5-15 minutes to buy a policy, not just get a quote then have an interview, you can actually buy via credit card vs. the typical industry which takes 2 weeks to 4 months and requires medical exam, in-person interviews, manual paperwork, etc.
  2. Bestow has customer care advisors and no commissioned sales people vs. the industry which uses commissioned sales agents who may be thinking more about their commission than your best interest
  3. Bestow's prices are affordable. For example, it's $3 a month for a 35 year old healthy female and go up from there depending on how much coverage you want.
  4. Bestow is backed by an A+ rated insurance carrier so a policy is high quality and long-lasting vs. the industry which has some A+ rated and lots of lower quality carriers

This topic is definitely not something we like to talk about, but we all have these fears in the back of our minds. (Single parent or not!). And it is SO important to think about the future. Especially if we can so easily, quickly and affordably do so! I am SO so thankful for companies that think through their processes, who care for those who may not be able to care for themselves, and who truly care about what they do.
