Today is my husband and I's one year wedding anniversary.... Where do I begin?
One year ago, Stuart and I and our two beautiful babies went to the Japanese Friendship Garden in Phoenix, Az. We met our pastor there, said our vows and we signed our marriage license. There was no first dance, no cake cutting, no bridal party. It was just us.
As mushy and gushy as I would like to be, I will throw some honesty at you guys first. This first year of marriage was hard. Really hard. But the one thing I can say, is I am so thankful for my husbands unconditional love and commitment. I feel like that is such a generic and over used statement. But I have never known such unconditional love in my life. His commitment to me is the one thing I cherish the most right now. It is an unexplainable feeling to know that I get to have this man, next to me for the rest of our lives. As we start to enter into the next chapter of our lives, I just pray over our marriage. I pray for continued protection, understanding and wisdom. We have our high's and lows...but I am so thankful for this beautiful man that God has so graciously blessed me with. God definitely knew what I needed in a husband when he created Stuart.
Happy Anniversary, Babe. I love you so much. X
