My Top Skincare Products I Travel With

LaurenJPhotography-5627.jpg

I have learned from past traveling experiences, that there are certain beauty products that I really do rely on. On previous short trips I have attempted to bring a minimal amount of items so that I didn’t have to check bags thinking - I’ll just buy something cheap to use during that trip. And I always hate how my skin and hair feels and looks when I cut corners.

So this summer when we went on an extended trip, I really thought through the items that are easily replaceable and then set aside the items that I knew I could not easily replace (or it would be too expensive to replace). Skincare was definitely one of those areas where I brought every single one of my skincare products that I knew I would want to use within 6 weeks. And it turns out, it does not take up much room and I did not feel like I overpacked at all!

All of these items fit easily in my Logan and Lenora makeup bag and I know that if anything spills out that I can just clean the bag or wipe it out with no problems!

Check out the items I packed below!

Ollie Belle Cover Dot Acne Care

Charcoal Bar Soap from Young Living

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

Collagen Gold Eye Patches

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

Anda Super Nutrient Balm

Anda Coherance Elixir

Anda Vitalessence Serum-oil

Rodan and Fields Reverse Skin Lightener

Ultra Repair Cream

Vitamin E Enhance Oil

Peter Thomas Roth Firm X Peeling Gel

RF Lash Boost

Native Deodorant

While we were on vacation at a hotel, I ended up wandering around the spa and bought the most beautiful Elemis Skincare Set. It came with a bunch of travel essentials and I freaking fell in love and now am completely obsessed with Elemis! I’ve used them every single day and have noticed a huge difference in my skin!

The Pro Collagen Marine Cream is literally pure magic. The best moisturizer I’ve ever used.

I also brought my everyday makeup bag with a few extra items in there for special events. The items that I did not pack were shampoo and conditioner, mouthwash (because 6 weeks worth of mouthwash was not getting packed in a bag! lol), body lotion, baby soap for the kids and moisturizer for them. Those are items that can easily be purchased while you are traveling and won’t have much difference in them from the stuff you normally buy! In fact, there is actually an aveda salon right next to where we were staying and I ended up getting a blow dry once a week! It was the perfect break for me and eliminated the need to buy a bunch of products!

What are some of your must have skin care items?
